Weeks Bay Plantation’s mission is to create delicious food through nutritional and natural growing methods. Our fifteen varieties of blueberries, as well as all of our other produce, are 100% organic, meaning we use no herbicides, pesticides or chemicals. We are proudly certified organic by the USDA!
Weeks Bay Plantation provides berries to individual customers through a pick-your-own operation. Our blueberries are packed with antioxidants and grown with our proprietary highly nutritional methods. We have 15 different varieties of blueberries – Emerald, Jewel, Windsor, Camellia, Brightwell, Alapaha, and Ochlockonee, just to name a few! All our berries have an amazing taste, sweetness, and aroma. We believe the quality of the berry is a direct result of the proprietary nutrient mix we have developed.
Our blueberries have some of the highest BRIX in the U.S. BRIX is a method of measuring the health of the plant and the density of nutrients in the fruit. Our BRIX level is 15, which exceeds the national average! The USDA considers 12 to be good and 15 to be excellent. The average among major growers nationally is 11.3. Our dedication to nutritional growing methods ensures our high BRIX levels will remain in place. The higher the BRIX, the better the food!
