WETHERSFIELD VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION
WVAA
Wethersfield Volunteer Ambulance Association is an all-volunteer organization that currently provides 911 emergency medical and standby services to the town of Wethersfield. WVAA operates between the hours of 6 pm – 6 am during the week and 24 hours on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Each year, WVAA serves approximately 2,000 patients.
WVAA is a basic life support service that partners with Aetna Ambulance Service to provide care when advanced life support evaluation and measures are needed. WVAA provides non-emergency transport services by reservation if a crew is available. Please email us to inquire about non-emergency transport.
WVAA’s budget is exclusively funded through transport fees and generous donations from the community. The two membership-owned ambulances and operations are located at the station on Prospect Street. We look forward to serving you!
