US CHINESE RADIO
Chinese Radio America is a Chinese-language radio station founded by the American Gelu Culture Media Group in the Northwest United States on January 1, 2015. It is broadcast simultaneously on KEST AM1450 in San Francisco and KXPA AM1540 in Seattle. It is the only Chinese radio station in the United States that broadcasts simultaneously in different locations, covering more than 1 million overseas Chinese in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Greater Seattle area.
Relying on the powerful news editing and reporting team of “Qiao Bao” under the Gelu Culture Media Group, the American Chinese Radio has launched diverse and fashionable Chinese radio programs with a young and professional broadcasting team, including news programs such as “News Morning Express”, “Today’s Focus”, “News Express”, “US Hot News”, “Qiao Bao Viewpoint”, “Daily Information List”, “Entertainment Show”, “Sports Frontline”, social topic programs such as “Love Commute”, “North American Strange Cases”, “Chinese Language and Overseas Chinese Language”, “The Most Beautiful Music Life”, “Hollywood Little Recommender” and other high-quality radio programs, presenting a unique auditory feast for the audience.
In 2016, Chinese Radio America won the silver medal in the “12th Oriental Imagination Global Chinese Radio Program Innovation Competition” with the children’s program “Children’s Voices in Unison”; in 2017, it was shortlisted for the gold, silver and bronze medals in the “13th Oriental Imagination Public Welfare Promotion Innovation Competition” with “A Life-Changing Journey – American Middle School Students’ Transoceanic Date”. This work was the only overseas shortlisted work and won the silver medal.
