U-Run was founded by Dr. Alex Urteaga. As local podiatry in New Braunfels he found a reoccurring problem here in New Braunfels.
There was nowhere in New Braunfels to find quality shoes for his clients and those he worked with. Dr. Urteaga began to sell shoes at his Foot & Ankle Clinic to meet this need but because of the high volume of shoes, they continued to sell he was pushed to open up a store that would be able to focus on those that were in need of quality shoes.
That’s where we come in! U-Run came from a humble beginning and now we’re able to meet people where they are at in order to help you start walking comfortably or run your next best race! Proper shoe selection is a vital part of the running/walking experience and the key to injury prevention. U-Run is a stop for education in all things active; from nutrition, running form, stretching, and beyond!
