THE GERMAN MASONIC CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
This is the required procedure to present a Grant to the German Masonic Charitable Foundation’s Donation Committee:
A Brother, in good standing, of a 9th Manhattan District Lodge must present the application during a Stated meeting in open lodge. He must represent the facts why the Charity is worthy of the Grant.
A favorable vote of the Lodge is required. The Worshipful Master and the Secretary must sign the application and apply the seal. The Brother presenting the application should include his name to the application. It should be noted in the Minutes.
The application should be filled out completely.
The application is then forwarded to the GMCF Donation Committee at The Whitestone Temple, 149-39 11th Avenue, Whitestone, N.Y. 11357, to be checked against the Guide Star list of acceptable charities.
Once accepted, it will be added to the current list of Charities.
The cut-off date is September 30th for that year’s Grants.
