The Zirlott/Tillman family come from a long line of seafood business owners here in the Bayou. Joyce started Suburban Inc as a single mother in 1979. Joyce’s oldest son Kurt Tillman worked for the family shrimp boat and at Suburban while he was in school and after he graduated in 1995 Kurt worked for an offshore company until 1999 when he came to work at Suburban full time. Kurt became the President of Suburban Inc in 2005. We have continued to grow the family company by establishing and maintaining business and customer relationships with many customers returning to purchase homes from us again and referring friends and family members to Suburban Inc.
