McDonald is from Birmingham, a graduate of Briarwood High School and Auburn University, and doing what he has enjoyed since his first days in the woods. His love for the outdoors and land led him to a career in Real Estate. After receiving his Realtor License in 2000, his focus has been on the sale and development of land first with Applegate Realty, RealtySouth and the Land Resource Group. Upon attaining his Broker’s License in 2004, McDonald opened Strong Realty.
Since that time, his efforts have led to the brokering, buying, selling, developing or improving of well over 3,000 acres in Central Alabama. His ability to visualize the often over-looked potential in a piece of property has been invaluable to buyers, sellers and developers. The proficiency of leading clients through successful transactions is complimented by his rare talent in enhancing the enjoyment of property to its fullest after the purchase.
McDonald is actively involved in the Shelby County chapter of the Alabama Treasure Forest Landowner Association and the Alabama chapter of the Realtors Land Institute.
