SIREN/Eaton Shelter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence, their children, and unhoused individuals and families in Eaton County and surrounding areas. Since its founding in the 1990s, SIREN has uniquely combined domestic violence and housing services, offering not only emergency shelter but safe housing opportunities that lead to permanent housing solutions. In addition to these critical services, SIREN operates a 24/7 crisis line and provides a free food pantry, clothing closet, and personal care items to the community. Its operations are funded by the generosity of others through donations, alongside federal and state grants.
