Family owned for more than 4 decades, the Mica family has been Providing South Central Texas with portable restroom and dumpster rentals since 1972.
The Outhouse Company, was established in 1972 by Liz Mica’s parents, James and Lillian Manning.
Scott and Liz Mica purchased the company in 1991 with only seventeen portable toilets to the company’s name. Today the company has expanded their services to include 5,000 portable toilet units, portable sinks, air-conditioned Comfort Stations, and a monthly service route that includes many wonderful customers.
In 2004 Mica Rental, Inc. was established and in 2015, roll-off dumpsters and trash trailers were added to their line of products.
Scott and Liz’s children, Tyler and Courtney Mica have followed in their parent’s footsteps by taking on the family business. Tyler has been actively working in the business for more than 10 years. Today Tyler and Courtney oversee operations, sales, and fleet management.
While the company has changed and grown, the goal has remained the same: To provide an excellent product with exceptional service. Like our motto states, we are big enough to handle any event, but small enough to treat you like family.
