LIVING WATER CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF THE SHENANDOAH VALLEY

Greetings from Pastor James,
Have you ever noticed that young children always seem to have a light that shines with enthusiasm and joy? I see that light in our grandchildren. It’s still there in spite of the many trials they’ve survived in their young lives.
I see young children that know matter where they are or what the circumstance, they unapologetically let their light shine. I hope and pray it will remain in them throughout their lifetimes. It seems like all children are born with that light.
The children are born with that light, just like you were born with it. They’re born with it, just like I was born with it. So, what happens to that light as children get older? That light gets dimmer and dimmer because the world drains it out of us. It’s hard to believe but there are people in this world who allow and even encourage that light to go out in a child. Isn’t that sad? Actually, it’s much more than sad. It’s tragic.
This world is deeply troubled. There are many good people whose souls are troubled by the immorality and disdain for life in this world. There is a yearning today for the light of God that delivers us from the darkness of the world.
Read Romans 13:8-14.
The Apostle Paul tells the people to “put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.”
We have that light of God in our hearts. We are called to share that light. One kind act causes a thousand ripples. Did you know that if you make one person happy each day, in ten years you’ll have made three thousand, six hundred and fifty people happy, and brightened a small town by your contribution to the light of the world.
If we all stay together and pull together as Christ’s church is supposed to do, our light will shine brighter and overcome the darkness. Now more than ever is the time to shine the light of God. Burdens will be lifted. Souls will be saved. Now is the time. Your family depends on it. The preservation of our nation depends upon it. Put on the armor of light. The light of God is our nation’s last hope.
Come to Living Water Christian Church and worship the Lord.
Is the world wearing you down? You are getting tired of living the old ways. You need a new outfit, talk to God and He will clothe you with the love of Jesus Christ. Trust in God. Put on the Armor of light. Believe me when I say, “he knows your size.”
Blessings to All
