Peter C. Walsh, Esq., is a former Associate Dean of the Suffolk Academy of Law; a member in good standing of the Suffolk County Bar Association; a Sustaining Member of the New York State Bar Association; and former Secretary of the District Managers Association of the Village of Port Jefferson Business Improvement District.
Peter C. Walsh graduated from the City University of New York School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 1992. At CUNY Law Mr. Walsh concentrated in Environmental Law and emphasized his studies in Elder Law. Also, Mr. Walsh studied criminal law at the Queens County Law Department as a recipient of a Revson Grant. In 1993, Mr. Walsh earned a Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Stony Brook University. Mr. Walsh graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha from USB in 1989 with a Degree in Political Science.
In 2012 and 2013, Mr. Walsh received a SCBA Award of Recognition for his exemplary devotion and commitment to the Association and to the Suffolk Academy of Law Continuing Legal Education programs.
In addition, the SCBA also awarded Mr. Walsh with a 2013 Award of Recognition for outstanding service as Co-Chair of the Solo & Small Firm Practitioners Committee.
Also, Mr. Walsh holds a Certificate of Appreciation for public service on behalf of the administration of justice, the protection of law clients and the integrity of the legal profession in the State of New York, meriting the appreciation and respect of the Board of Trustees of the Lawyers Fund for Client Protection.
Further, Mr. Walsh holds a Certificate of Appreciation from Sandra Day O’Connor and David H. Souter, Justices of the United State Supreme Court, for outstanding contributions to “We The People … The Citizen and the Constitution” a project of the Center for Civic Education funded by the U.S. Department of Education by act of Congress.
