Karma Thalo Foundation
Karma Thalo Foundation’s goal is to improve the health of the people of Nepal. Founded by a small group of both medical and non-medical volunteers, our primary focus is on serving the remote villages and residents along the Indigenous Peoples Trail. We organize and operate multi-day clinics providing immediate medical, dental and vision care.
Karma Thalo Foundation works with the local residents, regional medical personnel and a Nepali NGO by the same name. This provides the unique advantage of not only being sanctioned and welcomed by the government of Nepal, but also provides ongoing cooperation with local village leaders, doctors and regional clinics. We share data and assessments and determine needs for future “medical trek” clinics.
