Green’s Welding and Sales (GWS) was founded in 1983. It was originally named Green’s Welding Service. It is still owned and operated by Chris and Karen Green.
Chris Green started Green’s Welding Service with the purchase of his first portable welder. He ran a welding service after hours and weekends from a rented 2 car garage in Rockville, MO. Chris learned a lot about the weaknesses of products through his repair welding. As a cattleman, he has also learned what works. He takes pride in designing and fabricating quality products that he uses with his own cattle.
In 1989, the growing family and business moved to its current location 2 miles west of Appleton City, MO on Highway 52. The business has grown from primarily a repair welding shop to the current GWS manufacturing plant encompassing 33,000 square feet under roof on 30 acres.
As things have changed over the past 35+ years, QUALITY, INTEGRITY, and PASSION have remained the same. Chris and Karen strive to serve their dealers and customers by providing quality products at reasonable prices.
