Cornerstone Gospel Church is a Christian fellowship and worship center for families residing in the south Puget Sound area. The church has around 1,000 attendees during the week including official members, young adults, teenagers, and kids. Cornerstone has various internal departments designed to embrace and serve the diverse needs of its attendees in order to equip them to service in the local church and the community as a whole.
It all began in the early 1990s with immigrant families from the former Soviet Union. Driven by one purpose and faith, the Bible-believing Christians gathered on a regular basis in Kent, WA renting a small church facility. By late 1990s, the congregation’s attendance increased and this led the church to move the location to a different facility in Federal Way, WA which became the church’s main location for more than a decade. The steady growth in attendance shed light on a need for a larger facility that would better suit the needs of the church. Being conscious of this need, the church began developing a new building project in Auburn, WA. Since April 2016, the new building is the primary location for the church.
Cornerstone Gospel Church’s pastoral and administrative staff diligently help people understand and apply the Bible in their everyday lives. The congregation’s leadership desires to lead the church in a way that glorifies Jesus Christ and brings benefit to the society through the transformed lives of its members.
