Bowerman Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning was founded over 45 years ago by Michael Bowerman Sr. He began his work in the industry during the early 1970’s when he successfully operated a carpet cleaning business and managed a dry cleaning store in New Rochelle, NY. Michael used a truck mounted, steam cleaning system and was among the first to provide this service to the area. His success with carpet cleaning led him to establish his own company, Bowerman Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning. Not only did he specialize in caring for carpets, upholstery and drapery, he also began cleaning and caring for specialty area rugs. He then expanded services to include emergency water extraction. His hard work, determination and attention to customer satisfaction ensured our family’s respected reputation in the cleaning industry.
