AMERICAN LEGION CALVIN GEORGE POST 37

State officials are looking for more than 300,000 Georgia veterans of World War II or their relatives. In the run-up to the 60th anniversary of D-Day on June 6 and the dedication of the World War II memorial in Washington on May 29, Georgia officials want to identify and recognize those veterans for their service. The state also wants veterans or relatives to register on a national database that will be part of the Washington memorial.
