West Harrison Fire Department

We are a 100% all volunteer fire company located in the Town/Village Of Harrison in Westchester County, New York with a total population of 10,860 people in 3,823 households in an area of eleven square miles. Our company consists of 83 Volunteers. We respond to over 350 emergencies annually involving structure fires, auto accidents, medical assists, water rescue operations, electrical, and gas emergencies. Along with these fundamental responsibilities, we conduct fire prevention awareness training and we participate in numerous community activities.
All our members are trained and certified in various aspects of fire fighting and rescue techniques through both Westchester County Fire Training Center and during regularly scheduled in-house training and practice sessions. This training is ongoing process throughout the year.
Our fire equipment consists of Engine 267, Engine 265, Engine 266, Tower Ladder 9, Utility 25, Chief’s Car 2501 and Assistant Chief’s Car 2502.
We have been protecting our community for over 100 years!!
