HEARTLAND MEDICAL BILLING & CONSULTING

About Heartland Medical Billing & Consulting
Heartland Medical Billing & Consulting founder Stacey Dill had leadership and public service deep in her bones even before her substantial 23-years in medical billing and coding.
Prior to entering the medical field, Dill served 16 years active-duty and civil service as general manager of the base hotel at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma and Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts, as well as conducting oversight of up to 15 commercial properties used for overflow.
When her husband was denied a station beside her, Dill started to look for a new challenge. She wanted to find a new specialized field with an engaging skill set. That’s when she left the civil service, moved back to Oklahoma, and begin work in medical coding — something she immediately found fulfilling.
“I enjoy working with people,” Dill said, “I enjoy solving problems and trying to find a better solution to difficult issues. Just plain making life easier for folks.”
When the medical billing company Dill worked for shuttered in 2008, several clients approached her with requests for continued services. As a result, she opened Heartland Medical Billing & Consulting in April that year.
“When I first entered the field, there was very little guidance,” Dill said. “Over the years it has morphed into an incredibly challenging field that keeps me on my toes. There’s never a dull moment!”
Dill has crafted Heartland Medical Billing & Consulting into a reputable firm, known for its “old-school” customer-first attitude (she proudly points out there are no automated menus or phone trees), that provides reliable administrative support — allowing their providers to spend as much time with their patients as possible.
Dill attended Southwestern University, Georgetown Texas and UT Dallas Texas for Child Psychology, Cornell University for Hospitality and Hotel Administration, and Moore Norman Technology Center for Medical Billing and Coding.
