EILENBERGER'S BAKERY
We’ve been baking in Palestine, Texas since 1898, making us the oldest operating bakery in the Lone Star State. While some things may have changed over the past 120 years (we no longer deliver via horse drawn carriage, for instance) others, like our legendary pecan loaded fruitcake, haven’t changed a bit. We still bake many of our items using Fred H. Eilenberger’s secret family recipes from Germany, which is just one of the reasons many believe we produce the tastiest Pecan Cakes and Fruitcakes in the country.
