Statement of Faith
Mt Holly Christian Chapel accepts the authority of both the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible in all spiritual matters.
The inspiration, infallibility, and authority of the Word of God.
The eternal existence of God as a Trinity; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of His Father, and His personal return to the earth in power and glory.
Salvation for lost sinful men essential through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit and the shed blood of the Son of God.
The resurrection of both the saved and lost. They that are saved to the resurrection of life, they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation.
The spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
The ministration of the Holy Spirit, not only in re-generation, but in endowment for service in an experience, herein called the baptism in the Holy Spirit, subsequent to that of salvation according to Acts 2:1-4; 10:44; 19:6.
The promise of healing for our physical bodies in the laying on of hands and anointing with oil and prayer.
