Taqueria San Jose was founded because a need for a new style of a Mexican restaurant in Modesto was needed. It would be a family Mexican eatery with a very festive atmosphere. Along with an attractive environment, the food would be the freshest and best tasting every time. This service would also have to fit a family’s budget. Most importantly, the overall focus would be the consistent performance, not gimmickry. In less than five years, Taqueria San Jose became known as “The Best Mexican Restaurant.” By this time, Juan and David opened a second location. Taqueria San Jose became the place to go for
