The Chevaliers du Tastevin Foundation was incorporated in 1979 by then Grand Pilier General S.T. Harris as a vehicle for the members of the Commanderie dAmerique to support educational and cultural projects in France and the United States. The purpose of the Foundation is to develop through education a broader understanding of the wines, culture, and history of Burgundy among Americans and a similar understanding of the USA for the citizens of Burgundy.

The Chevaliers du Tastevin Foundation was incorporated and initially funded in 1979 by then Grand Pilier General S.T. (Buddy) Harris as a vehicle for the members of the Commanderie d’Amerique to support educational and cultural projects in France and the United States. The purpose of the Foundation is to develop through education a broader understanding of the wines, culture, and history of Burgundy among Americans, and a similar understanding of the USA for the citizens of Burgundy
