First Baptist Bonham desires to be a church that exalts Jesus Christ. We believe that God desires for First Baptist Bonham is to be a catalyst for spiritual transformation in Bonham and beyond through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We exist to go to the world, grow together, and glorify God in worship and obedience.
Every successful endeavor begins with a vision and a plan to see it through to its destination. For First Baptist Bonham to be a church that glorifies Jesus Christ, we must have a plan to accomplish that goal. However, we don’t want just any plan, we want God’s plan. Jesus Christ is the Lord of the universe and the Head of the church, so we must do what He wants in our church so that we can be found faithful to our Lord and Savior. Therefore, as First Baptist Bonham, we must be able to answer the question, “Where is God taking us?” The answer to that question will guide what we do, why we do it, how we do it, and when we are successful. In short, we believe God’s plan for First Baptist Bonham is to be a catalyst for spiritual transformation in Bonham and beyond through the gospel of Jesus Christ. By the grace of God, that is our VISION.
