We are a non-profit 501(c)3 dog rescue devoted to helping dogs in need.
We are a group of 3 people who have a vast love for dogs. Everyone in our group is a volunteer at the Council Bluffs Animal Shelter. As we walked, played and interacted with the dogs or helped potential adopters find the ‘right fit’ we couldn’t help but wonder if there was something more we could do to help these dogs. Individually we ‘rescued’ dogs; finding a loving home for a blind lab, adopting shelter dogs, transporting ‘unadoptable’ dogs and fostering a dog with a broken leg. As we talked about our struggles in our individual rescue cases we came to realize that we can all work to provide a better service for the dogs together.
Each P4P member has unique talents and resources that when combined create a complete rescue organization.
Currently, we are attempting to find forever homes for the dogs deemed ‘unadoptable’ or hard to adopt; whether it is due to age, disability or any other prejudice including breed. In our eyes, every dog is deserving of a loving home.
As we evolve and grow, our goals will become more defined and expansive. Please join us on this journey to “Save the world-one dog at a time”.
