The Utah Prevention Coalition Association is a statewide network of coalitions that promote positive lifestyles, prevent substance misuse, and decrease behavioral health problems among Utah’s youth.

Coalitions assess the needs of their local communities and create an action plan. They work to decrease known “risk factors” and support known “protective factors” relating to substance misuse, suicide, delinquency, crime and other risky behaviors.

We complete our action plans by using evidence-based programs, practices and policies to ensure a positive impact. We work together with our communities to create healthy environments where youth can thrive.
