The Twin Lights Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in Highlands, New Jersey, that helped save this National Landmark from ruin in 1955.

Today, the Society is an Officially Recognized Friends Organization of The New Jersey State Park Service, who owns and operates the site.

The Society operates to support and enhance the efforts of the New Jersey DEP, Division of Parks, Forestry and Historic Sites to share this National Landmark and its view, fostering a broader understanding of the significant historical role played by Twin Lights in scientific and popular culture.
