William “Zak” Taylor is a trained arbitrator, mediator, special master/discovery referee, and Hospital Peer Review Hearing Officer who focuses on resolving business disputes of all types and probate matters.
An experienced trial lawyer, Zak is a Senior Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a peer-reviewed honorary trial lawyer society. He has also been recognized as a Super Lawyer in three categories, business litigation, business transactions and from 2014 to the present in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has been rated as a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Attorney for several decades. As a trial lawyer, he has more than 75 trials in all sorts of settings. He is also an experienced appellate lawyer with appeals in many courts including the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for several Circuits, and the California Supreme Court. His work as an attorney was wide-ranging with virtually every type of case, a rarity for someone with experience in 2 “Big Law” firms. He is a former partner of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison and Morgan Lewis & Bockius, LLP.
