Mushroom King Farm is family-owned and operated, growing and distributing high quality organic shiitake mushrooms in the United States for over 20 years.
Jimmy Ho founded their first mushroom farm in New Jersey back in the late 1990’s as the popularity of donko shiitake mushrooms started to skyrocket in the United States.
He saw the opportunity to bring centuries worth of shiitake growing techniques from China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea in order to create the best around.
Mushroom King Farm started out as a local distributor and became a fan favorite in the area. In 2014, Joshua joined his father in his quest to grow the family business. Within a few years, they exponentially grew throughout the east coast gaining notoriety with major retailers.
Several years ago Joshua stepped into the CEO role for the company and expanded into the west coast through their California location. Mushroom King Farm’s organic shiitake mushrooms are featured in many amazing retailers across the nation.
Just like how a mushroom’s mycelium spreads out and builds it’s own networks. Mushroom King Farm is rapidly expanding throughout the United States!
