Armadillo Medical Services is a small, primary care family practice in Lafayette started by Dr. Philip Hunt in 2007. Originally from Austin, Texas, Dr. Hunt served in the United States Air Force, and after an honorable discharge, he graduated from the University of Texas School of Medicine. He completed his residency in various practices in Eastern Tennessee and later came to Lafayette to pursue his passion for rural medicine. Armadillo Medical Services was founded on his desire to provide preventive and primary care to the population of this town, and serve the community he came to call home.
